The Betaconnect electronic auto-injector was developed to facilitate a gentler, lower-force injection. The system can be operated with one hand, featuring automatic needle insertion and retraction. Injection speed, needle insertion depth and injection reminders can be individually customised by the patient. The injection data are uploaded to a website via a cable or Bluetooth.
